Fees Based on Days Per Week Yearly Rate

This is the fifth year, in a row, that TCAC has chosen not to raise tuition. We are only able to maintain our level of programming, providing our student with healthy snacks, good quality art,

 

and music supplies plus other materials that aide and enhance their ASA 

education by charging fees. We have chosen to assess 

fees rather than raise daily tuition rates.

(Fees are never waived) 

  • If you occasionally wish to add a day to your student's schedule, the additional day will be charged at the rate of $19.00/day, regardless of your normal daily rate. (This payment is due at pick-up)

Late Fees & Charges

  • A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for all monthly tuition payments made after the due date
  • A late fee of $15.00 will be charged for pick-up after 6:00 PM. Payment must be made at time of pick-up
  • Two weeks written notice is required for any change in the number of days attending
  • Changes that involving dropping more than one day a week may result in the assessment of a penalty fee
  • If you decide to leave the program prior to the end of the school year, your deposit will be forfeited
  • If you decide not to participate in the program, we will need 30 days written notice prior to the school year or your deposit will be forfeited

Tuition & Billing Information

  • Enrollment in the ASA Program is for the full school year and requires a tuition deposit of $150.00
  • Monthly tuition payments are due on the 15th day of the previous month. Invoices will be sent by mail
  • Minimum Day tuition is an additional $10.00 charge. (Minimum /early dismissal days are billed $5.00/hour for additional time)
  • Full Minimum Day tuition must be paid regardless of hours attended
  • An additional processing /materials fee of $70/$85/$100 will be charged to all students

Payment Policies and Procedures

  • Registration is for the entire year of lessons
  • Payments are due in full by each payment date (these can be found on our Calendar)
  • Lessons cannot begin until the first payment is paid in full
  • Tuition will be refunded only with written notice prior to the second lesson
  • There are no refunds for withdrawals after the second lesson
  • There is a $25.00 penalty fee for all early withdrawals
  • All late payments will incur a $25.00 late payment fee
  • There is a $40.00 returned check fee
  • *Dr. Tiezen's students pay a separate rate

Cancellations / Illness / Missed Lessons

As a courtesy to your teacher, please notify TCAC in advance of any absence by calling the office at (203) 488-5668. Prior notification allows a teacher to reschedule other lessons and make-ups. It does not exempt the student from payment as contracted. Lapsed attendance from lessons does not excuse you from your financial obligation to pay for the entire year of lessons. In cases of serious illness or injury, please contact the TCAC office.

Tardiness

Because of our faculty's tight lesson schedules, students who are late for a lesson cannot be guaranteed their full lesson time. Students who are tardy do not receive make-up time. Missed lesson time due to faculty tardiness will be made-up.

Missed Lessons

Teachers are required to make-up one student absence per trimester. All teacher absences must be made-up. The last week of each trimester is scheduled for make-up lessons.

Delinquent Accounts

TCAC reserves the right to suspend or discontinue instruction of any student who is delinquent in fulfilling his/her financial obligations.

Audition Fee (non-refundable): $50  Tuition: $200 = $250.00

Script Deposit (refundable): $25

 Grand Total= $275.00
